NEW STUFF

Border Battle

The deadline to sign up for the Border Battle, a 10k dual race against Minnesota through the scenic arboretum, is TOMORROW, Tuesday September 18th @ Midnight. The race is this Saturday, starting at 6 pm. Meet at Vilas Park at 5:30 pm for warmups.

There will be a pre-Border Battle pasta party at 1519 Madison Street this Friday at 6pm where you can load up on carbs to take down the Minnesotans.

There is also a post-Border Battle cookout at the Chadbarn (1601 Chadbourne Ave) after the race on Saturday, starting at 8 pm. Come out and celebrate with us!

Kick-off Meeting

This Wednesday at 8pm in the Brogden Psychology Building Lecture Hall 107 is our club kick-off meeting! If you are new, this will be a great opportunity to get all your questions answered about the club. For returning members and new members alike, you can purchase and pick up the new jersey. Additionally, if you want to compete at Nationals, you MUST fill out the required waiver at the meeting. There will be pizza 🙂

griak

The deadline to sign up for Griak is THIS WEDNESDAY at midnight. While Griak is a challenging course, it's an awesome experience, especially since it is an overnight meet. It gives you a great chance to get to know your fellow cows. If you haven't already, please sign up to be authorized driver (Hanna, aka Dr. Docter will love you forever if you do).

Intrasquad 5k Recap

We had a huge turnout for the first race of the season! Congrats to everyone who came out and competed, despite the less than ideal temperatures. Kevin Dado finished first for the men with a time of 15:36, and Brooke Young won in 19:21 for the women. There were impressive finishes all around. If people keep signing up for meets, we should have a successful season all around!
