OLD STUFF (to read if you missed last week or enjoy deja vu) |
ITS NEVER TOO LATE TO ACT
ACT is an awesome volunteer opportunity where runners can exercise with other runners with special needs. Its a perfect time to find a running buddy, and it's a great event that can always use more volunteers! ACT meets at 10 AM at the Shell every Saturday morning on the bleachers by the pole vault pit!
NOW STARTING: TRACK SEASON
As you could probably tell from the rest of the contents of this newsletter, it's TRACK TIME! That means a new season, new workouts, and new members! Therefore, here's some things that you can do:
NEW SEASON: Pay your dues, fill out membership forms, and become an authorized driver (if you haven't already)
NEW WORKOUTS: Stay up to date with the workouts of the week by checking your email for coach's instructions or the Facebook and Herdfinder pages (found in quick links)
NEW MEMBERS: Call yo friends, family members, teammates, etc that like running and tell them about track club. There will probably be some new members for the track season, so be super helpful and point them toward the resources and such that they need! If you are a new member, most of the important links are under "quick links", and if anyone has any questions, just ask a board member or regular member!
