Moosletter — Week of November 16th!

Practice Updates

With the end of the semester coming up, we wanted to give you all a few updates on how practice will be running until winter break.

  • Distance practice: now begins at 4:30pm! We're done with structured workouts for the semester--great work on a successful cross country season!--but we'll continue to meet Monday-Thursday outside Union South.
  • Sprints and Field practice: will remain at 5:30pm, but will now meet at the Near West Fields.

Please feel free to reach out to the event VPs (Sam Culwell, Lauren Fligge, Grace Nwankwo, or Nathan Phillips) with any questions about practices or workouts!

Elections

This year, elections will be held on Thursday, December 4th, at 7pm. We'll start the night off with our cross country season recap and awards, and then move onto election speeches and appointments! If you think you're interested in running for a board position, reach out to the current board member for more information about each role. You must have five volunteer hours submitted to Volunteer Coordinator Jenna Auth in order to be eligible to run. If you do not have five volunteer hours completed and need to get some, Jenna can help you figure out what to do. Election interest forms can be found here!
