The hotel does include a breakfast and Allie is also bringing bagels and bananas for us! We will be getting a late lunch/early dinner after the meet on Saturday too! Jim Drews/Tori Neubauer Invitational recap

Here are the results for the meet and here are the minimal pictures I got in the rain lol. Great job to everyone who raced! As Matt said in his Facebook post, we had 7 bulls under 28 minutes and the top 5 averaged a time of 26:55! The girls also did a great job, all 4 of them! Getting ready for regionals which is right around the corner!

 

Corn maze

Keep your schedule clear for the corn maze on Friday, October 25th! It's a great opportunity to get a pumpkin, drink some cider, eat a caramel apple...what could be better. Make sure you check out the Facebook post and sign up on the spreadsheet if you are looking to go! Please, if you can drive or have a car make sure to let us know on the spreadsheet!

 

Pancake breakfast

This Sunday's social is a pancake breakfast hosted by the cow haus. It will be following the long run on the Arb Trails! Meet at P&L at 9am to start running and then grab some pancakes at the end! Keep your eyes open for a Facebook post regarding this event!

What a good looking herd of cows competing on the lakeshore path this last Friday😍😍 Great job to everyone who raced and thank you once again to our volunteers who make those races possible! If you are going to Minnesota this weekend and competing in the Roy Griak Invitational GET READY FOR A VERY IMPORTANT EMAIL! You will be getting venmo requests, an assigned car to travel in, a house to stay at, and much more so please be on the lookout for that! THIS NEXT PART IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: If you were looking to stay an extra night in Minnesota (to stay with your family, stay with the U of M folk, etc) you will have to find YOUR OWN RIDE HOME! We do not have anyone taking personal vehicles so that means that no one is staying in Minnesota an extra day unless you have your own means of getting home and your own place to stay!

Okay folks, this is going to be a lot of information. All of it is very important, but no worries, we will be reminding you about it at nearly every practice.

 

First official practice

Our first practice is on Wednesday, September 4th at 5:30! We will be meeting every Monday-Thursday to run together! Tuesday's and Thursday's will be work out days and we will warm up together starting at 5:30. We meet at the cross between Park and Langdon, it is right in front of Science Hall! Keep an eye out for fruns (food runs) on Fridays and long run's on Sundays!

If any of you cows are in Madison this summer and looking for a 5k, consider this one!

The Movin' Shoes Running Club is hosting the 15th Annual Full Moon 5K this year, scheduled for Thursday, July 25th. 100% of race proceeds from this event will go to the Lincoln Elementary School's Recess Running Club. Movin' Shoes has worked with this organization for many years to ensure that their kids have proper footwear to explore the sport of running.

THIS WILL BE THE LAST BULLETIN THE SEMESTER! WE HAVE HAD SUCH A GREAT SEMESTER AS A CLUB, FROM AN INCREASE OF VOLUNTEER WORK TO SOME PRETTY INCREDIBLE PERFORMANCES ON THE TRACK. I HOPE THESE BULLEITIN'S/MOOSLETTER'S HAVE BEEN HELPFUL WITH ORGANIZING ANNOUNCEMENTS AND INFORMATION, AS I KNOW WE THROW QUITE A LOT AT YOU COWS! don't worry, i will be back in the fall with more and i hope to see you all as well!
